NEW YORK - July 6, 2020 - NFP, a leading insurance broker and consultant that provides property and casualty, corporate benefits, retirement, and individual solutions, today announced the hiring of Akhil Chopra and Elissa Doroff, adding two experienced professionals to its specialty team. The additions reflect NFP's focus on delivering highly specialized expertise and service as clients manage complex risks across cyber, trade credit, professional, and kidnap and ransom.
Chopra brings 20 years of cyber and professional liability experience that includes serving as cyber practice leader for Marsh and delivering placement and advisory solutions to a wide range of clients. As managing director and head of NFP's cyber and network security specialty team, he will drive new offerings to clients in risk transfer, evaluation and consultation, while developing and implementing a cyber and network security strategy.
Doroff has more than 15 years of industry experience, including service as claims counsel for AIG and leading a team that provided public and private companies with expertise and guidance on media, technology, privacy and cyber risks. As managing director and cyber technical leader, she will drive the development of thought leadership, claims advocacy and consultation services, while collaborating with colleagues to refine and execute a cyber-strategy that advances overall growth.
