NEW YORK - June 30, 2020 - NFP, a leading insurance broker and consultant that provides property and casualty (P&C), corporate benefits, retirement, and individual solutions, today announced that H. David Wood has joined the company as a managing director for NFP's Southwest offices. In this role, Wood will oversee all sales and operational activities with a focus on forging new relationships and elevating overall growth.
Wood has more than 35 years of insurance industry experience with a focus on P&C and risk management. His career features sales, marketing, operations and senior leadership roles with several brokerages, including Marsh, Jardine Risk Management, Willis Towers Watson, and most recently, USI. Wood also led insurance operations and data governance for Wells Fargo. Based in the Phoenix area, he will report to Doug Turk, regional managing director for NFP's West region.
With this addition, Ed Kurowski, managing director, will be taking on a new role as the select business unit (SBU) leader for NFP's West region. Kurowski, who joined NFP in 2009, will also report to Turk.
